Community Sound Medicine
Presentations, immersive sound journeys & experiences
for organizations and communities

Community Sound Medicine
brings the experience of sound
beyond the walls of the Sanctuary
and into the places where people gather.
These programs can combine
an educational presentation exploring
the nature and science of sound
with an immersive journey
using instruments such as
gongs, crystal and metal bowls,
drums, rattles, voice, tuning forks,
and other forms of vibration
and deep listening.
Each gathering is shaped around
the people and community being served.
A program may be primarily educational, primarily experiential, or a
weaving together of both—creating an opportunity to learn about
sound while also experiencing it directly.
Community Sound Medicine can be
adapted for organizations, community groups, wellness programs, workplaces, retreats, support programs, and other gatherings seeking an experience
that encourages reflection, relaxation, connection, and deeper listening.
Learning Through Experience

Sound can be understood intellectually,
but its deeper nature is discovered through experience.
Community Sound Medicine
invites participants to move beyond simply
learning about vibration, resonance, rhythm, and deep listening and to experience sound directly for themselves.
Each person’s experience is uniquely their own.
There is nothing to achieve and no prescribed outcome—only an invitation to listen, notice, reflect,
and discover what may arise within.
